Brooklyn-born Joe Lipinski was featured with his high school rock band at the Steel Pier in Atlantic City, New Jersey and was a FREELANCE VANDAL at college in Dayton, Ohio. Joe, who worked as an apprentice electrician on the construction of the World Trade Center, was featured on WDTN-TV for playing a 9-11 benefit concert in NYC. Having sung in both Northern and Southern Hemispheres and played in bands from New York to Red Deer, Alberta, Joe debuted his first album “Flip Side” on vinyl in 1980 and is the song-writing force behind the 2020 jersey joe project.
Ohio native Joe Tellmann released his first CD titled “The Joe Tellmann Band” and won young lead guitarist award at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis at age 16. At 18 years old, he was featured on PBS-TV and appeared on Michael Johnathon’s WOODSONGS OLD TIME RADIO HOUR. By the age of 20, he shared the stage with Miami Steve Van Zant at the Reykjavik Blues Festival; with “Steady Rollin” Bob Margolin at the Dayton Blues Festival; featured with his own band “The Joe Tellmann Band” on public television; and was a well-established player at the Pinetop Perkins Foundation and numerous other professional experiences. At 21, he is the co-arranger/writer, audio engineer, and musical guru behind the 2020 jersey joe project.
